The global wealth management brand of Crédit Agricole Group, Indosuez Wealth Management, enhanced its Asia team in Singapore with the appointments of Shiladitya Choudhuri as managing director, market head of external asset manager and multi-family office business; Jensen Wee as senior director, head of client services; and Harpreet Singh as senior director, relationship manager.
The appointments bolster the firm’s wealth management offerings at a time when Asia is positioned for economic recovery from 2020’s Covid-19 pandemic. All three appointees have extensive expertise in international financial services and strong understanding of key markets in the region, including Singapore and Southeast Asia where Indosuez has deep roots.
Choudhuri, a veteran of the bank, has been managing director at Indosuez’s Singapore Branch since 2014. With over two decades of experience in the banking and financial services industry, he also brings valuable expertise and insights from his time at HSBC Private Bank and ABN Amro Bank in Singapore, as well as ICICI Bank in Dubai and India.
Wee has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry with a strong track record in client relationship and service management. Prior to Indosuez, he was director, business management, at Julius Baer in Singapore.
Singh brings experience from his previous role at J. Safra Sarasin. Prior to that, he served at the private bank desks of Bank of Singapore, BNP Paribas and Citibank’s NRI business.
Omar Shokur, Asia chief executive officer of Indosuez, says: “As we look forward to economic recovery from the pandemic, these appointments will drive our commitment to consistently strengthen our capabilities as leaders in the wealth management industry and achieve robust growth.”
