Mirae Asset Global Investments and Bloomberg have established a global strategic data and technology collaboration to support the Seoul-based asset manager in its global business expansion and digital transformation.
Bloomberg, drawing on its expertise in financial information services, will offer solutions in support of Mirae Asset’s investment offerings. Both parties will also actively explore additional areas of collaboration, particularly in digital transformation, data solutions and innovation.
“At Mirae Asset, we are proud to operate a globally diversified investment platform with intelligent solutions across various asset classes to meet ever-evolving investor needs. The growing scale of our business is in constant demand of integrated technologies and high-quality data solutions,” says Mirae Asset chief officer Young Kim. “We look forward to collaborating with Bloomberg as we fully utilize the expertise of both parties to help investors from different parts of the world achieve their long-term objectives.”
Bing Li, head of Asia-Pacific at Bloomberg, notes that the firm’s memorandum of understanding with Mirae Asset is its first in South Korea. “With our decades-long heritage in the region, and our industry-leading data and technology solutions, we are committed to bringing more value to our clients in South Korea and throughout Asia, working with them to support their strategies in global markets,” Li adds.
